Valentine’s Day is great and all, but let’s be real, Galentine’s Day is even better! This year, my friend Emily and I decided to go all out for Galentine’s day (a couple of days early) Leslie Knope style: waffles and all! We set up in my absolute favorite part of my apartment on my cute new Ellen Tracy quilt with our waffles, some fun V-Day themed props for Snapchat and Insta purposes (how freaking cute are these Zenni Blokz heart glasses? They actually have blue blocker lenses, so they protect your eyes from harmful blue light emitted from digital devices like computers, phones, and even your tv if you’re having a night of Netflix & Chill but still want to be able to sleep once your done binging your favorite show!) and a bottle of Campo Viejo Rioja! Even Euler got in on the fun. And by that I mean he sat there and begged for waffles the entire time. But he did try on the Zenni Eyewear glasses! Jerry and I both agree that Euler wore them way better. lol

If you’re looking for a last minute Valentine’s Day date (hi, same! We were indecisive and now it’s too late to make reservations at most places… whoops) or Galentine’s Day dinner/wine night idea, I highly suggest grabbing a bottle of Campo Viejo Rioja and creating a fun at home date night/Galentine’s Day party! You can serve it with a charcuterie board, a full on dinner, or even just waffles if you’re going all out Galentine’s day like we decided to!
