Las Vegas Bachelorette Party Recap
Hi Friends! I know it’s been a few weeks since I got back from my bachelorette party, but I just have SO many pictures from it that it’s taken me a while to sift through them and find all of my favorite ones! It was seriously the best weekend with the best friends, and I am so thankful that they were all willing to come to Vegas with me, because I know that’s a big ask! This post is going to be a little bit different than most, because it’s all just in the moment cell phone pictures! I had planned on using my camera, and then when it came down to it it just didn’t make sense to carry my nice camera throughout Vegas with me, so what you get instead are a ton of real, raw, in the moment (and v grainy, so sorry!) pictures that I think more accurately show how our weekend went down than any well lit, well edited camera photos ever would have!
DAY ONE
Day one was a Thursday! I got in first, and then immediately went to Taco Bell, because well, duh. And then I just killed time exploring the strip as I waited for the rest of my girls to get there! Day one was fun, because while we didn’t do a ton, I got to reunite with my sister and best friends from out of state who I don’t get to see often, and everybody was able to finally meet each other! Mae (my MOH), my sister and my friend Cristina (you can get to know all of my bridesmaids in THIS POST so you know who I’m talking about!) got in first, met me at our hotel (we stayed at The Paris Hotel and it was so perfect! The location was great and the rooms were super affordable!) and we went and grabbed food and some drinks while we waited for the other girls! Our original plan was to try to go clubbing, but once everyone else got in (at around 11pm), we decided to just go grab a couple of drinks at the bar down the street instead! Once we got back to our hotel, we found a super cute flower wall and took that bottom picture, which in our tipsy state we thought was SUPER Instagram worthy… LOL
Dress is Lilly Pulitzer (here’s the current version!) and Sash is from Lauren Lash Designs! She has the CUTEST bachelorette and bridal accessories, so definitely check her out if you’re planning a bachelorette party for yourself or a bestie!
DAY TWO
Day two we didn’t actually have anything planned (I’m not a huge planner and tend to go with the flow, especially when I’m on vacation) but it ended up being such a fun day! Our first stop was brunch at Yard House, where we got bottomless mimosas and had some of the best Avo toast I’ve ever tried! Then, we headed back towards our hotel. On the way back we were approached by a rep for a pool party at Drai’s, and decided that that would be a good thing to do next! We went home, got ready, and headed to the pool! I was already feeling pretty good, thanks to the bottomless mimosas, so after a few more drinks I was DONE. lol We had a blast, and then immediately headed to In N Out, for what in that moment felt like the best meal I had ever had in my life. Did anybody catch it in action on my stories that day? lol
Swimsuit is Lucy In The Sky, and could not be more perfect for a bachelorette party! If you’re in between sizes, size UP! I ordered a Large because Medium was sold out, and while the medium probably would have worked, the Large was a perfect fit!
After In N Out, we went home and took a nice long nap, then woke up to go out! We got suckered into LA Epic Club Crawls by a promoter, and were promised a bunch of things (free drinks, no lines, etc.) that did not happen. I don’t like focusing on the negative, and this is the only negative thing that I will say, but if you go to Vegas, whatever you do, do NOT pay for a club crawl through LA Epic. It felt like such a scam, and if you’re a group of girls you won’t have trouble getting into clubs for free, anyways!
We went to one club, then immediately left to go get dinner and a few drinks, and then headed back to our room, since we had a big day planned for Saturday!
This dress is from Pretty Little Thing and is linked in THIS blog post, and again the sash is from Lauren Lash! I wore it pretty much all weekend and LOVED it!
My white booties are sold out, but you can find a ton of other white booties still in stock (along with this amazing dress!) in this post!
DAY THREE
The one thing that I REALLYYYY wanted to do in Vegas was a pool party day, and my AMAZING MOH found Sin City Club Crawl. Unlike LA Epic, they were hands down the best experience of our trip. They delivered on every promise they made and then some. Basically, we met them at Bare Pool, spent an hour there and then hopped on a party bus, where they had drinks waiting for us (the drinks on the bus were free, so all we had to pay for were drinks at the pools.) and our host Lola got everybody super hyped for the next couple of pools, which was impressive being as we were all exhausted from the day before. We went from Bare to Flamingo, and then from Flamingo to Mandalay Bay, where the crawl ended. If you go to Vegas I cannot recommend them enough. We had an absolute blast!
After the pools (I played it a little tamer this time… lol) we went home and got ready for our last night out. We spent some time at the casino (I won a whole dollar, and then promptly lost $5 and called it quits) before ubering to Encore at the Wynn where we played a couple of games of blackjack (well, I watched because I was clearly not on a winning streak) and then headed upstairs to the club. We had a great night meeting new friends and having a few drinks, and then finished out the night at McDonald’s (because what else would you want after a few drinks?).
As sad as I was for the weekend to be over, I don’t think I have ever been more tired than I was on the day of my return flight. I now understand why people say that you only need a day or two in Vegas because holy crap. I don’t think I could have survived another day in Vegas. That being said, I already want to go back! While the trip definitely had it’s ups and downs, I could not have asked for a better bachelorette party and better friends to share it with! I can’t wait to be reunited for the WEDDING (EEK!) in just 40 short days! (Double eek! Our engagement has seriously FLOWN by!)
