Spanx Leather Leggings Review (and the cutest under $20 flannel!)
Top Shein (c/o) / Leggings Spanx / Booties Similar / Necklace Kendra Scott (c/o)
Happy Monday! I wanted to talk really quickly about these leggings! I have been eyeing them FOREVER and finally pulled the trigger last month and I'm SO glad I did. You guys. I honestly don't think I've ever loved a pair of leggings more than I love these ones. They feel like workout leggings, so they're SO comfy, but they also look dressy enough to wear out with sweaters and flannels, and I love the little bit of edginess they add to any outfit! When I posted about them on my stories I got more responses from you guys than I think I've EVER gotten asking about them, so I thought I'd answer some of the questions you guys had here!
1. Are they worth the price? These leggings are a bit on the expensive side, which is why I waited SO long to finally buy them, but yes, they are 1000% worth it. If you think about it, they're around the same price as a pair of Lululemon leggings, and they're SO versatile, you can wear them so many ways! I've already gotten a TON of use out of mine.
2. How do they fit? The fit is a little tighter than normal leggings because they're by Spanx so their main purpose is to suck you in and be slimming. If you don't want a tighter fit, size up and they should fit perfectly. I usually wear a small in leggings, but bought these in a medium because they looked SO small on the hanger and I'm one of those people that hates to try things on. The medium fits perfectly, but I think a small would have worked too, so it really depends on how tight of a fit you want.
3. How do you style them? I had a couple of people mention that they loved the leggings, but weren't sure how to style them! I've been wearing mine with oversized sweaters and flannels and either heels or my black nikes if I'm going for a more casual look. I've also seen them worn with suede over the knee boots and it looks SO cute!
4. Do they hold their shape? One of my biggest legging pet peeves is when the knees start to sag after you've worn them for a while, and I was SO worried that was going to happen with these. So far I've noticed that right when you take them off, the knees look a little bit looser, but after they've been off for like an hour or so they seem to go back to their normal shape. The knees have also never started to look saggy while they're on, so I think that they're going to hold their shape pretty well!
XOXO,
Olivia
