Finding The Perfect Bag with Opry Mills

So I'm not necessarily the type of person to splurge on a handbag, but I can be tempted by a good sale. Usually I'm happy to buy inexpensive bags so that I can spend more money on clothes, but every now and then I like to treat myself, and if you're anything like me right now is the perfect time!

Why is right now the perfect time to treat yo self to a new bag? Because Opry Mills is having their mall wide handbag sale, so pretty much any bag you could ever want is ON SALE! The sale varies from store to store, but with so many different designers and handbag options, you're sure to find your perfect bag for the perfect price!

My first stop when I got to Opry Mills was at Coach. When I was younger I had begged my parents for a Coach bag for my birthday, and was so shocked and excited when I opened the package to find the bag I had been obsessing over for months. Ever since then Coach has had a special place in my heart, so it was one of the first places that came to mind and guys, they've really been stepping up their game lately! They had a bunch of super cute prints and SO many different styles to choose from! I fell in LOVE with this adorable lavender tote. Totes are the best because you can fit pretty much anything and everything in them, so they're perfect for those days when you have to go from work to the gym because you can fit your laptop and your gym clothes with room to spare! And with an additional 50% off all bags during the sale, it was basically a steal!

Next up I went to Saks off 5th Avenue to look at their bags! I love Saks off 5th because they have SO many different options, so unlike most of the other stores I went to you're not limited to just one brand! There were a bunch of cute Rebecca Minkoff bags like this silver satchel that I think would be so perfect with an all black outfit for a night out, and these colorful crossbody bags that I think would go so well with a white dress and wedges! I also was super tempted by this mini Tory Burch bag, that I think would go just perfectly with a cute pair of jeans. During the sale, Saks is offering $20 off your purchase of $125 or more, which makes all of their already discounted bags even more affordable!

After Saks off 5th, I headed to Michael Kors! They had a couple more really cute totes, and a bunch of cute crossbody bags. Typically I don't spend too much time at Michael Kors just because it can get a bit pricey, but right now their entire store is 60% off, making all of their bags surprisingly affordable!

Finally, I ended up at Kate Spade. To be honest, I purposely saved Kate Spade for last because I know myself and I knew that I'd most likely end up finding #ThePerfectBag there, so I made sure to check out all of my options first. There's just something about the fun, playful designs, bright colors and crisp patterns at Kate Spade that I just cannot resist. The Opry Mills Kate Spade is already AMAZINGLY affordable, but with all bags marked down an additional 20%, I was like a kid in a candy store!

As much as I tried to resist, I ended up finding not one but two Kate Spade bags that I absolutely could not live without. First was this Ice Cream Pint mini bag. The second I laid eyes on it, I knew it HAD to come home with me. It may not be the worlds most practical bag because it is on the smaller side, but it's such a fun, statement piece. I've been wearing it nonstop with all of my favorite summer rompers, and it's been SUCH a conversation starter! With the additional 20% discount, this bag which was originally upwards of $200 came out to just under $75, tax included!

Second, I found this amazing structured crossbody satchel. It was on sale for only $129, and is the perfect bag to travel with! So far I've brought it with me to New York City and Seattle, and I will be bringing it with me to Hawaii today, too! It carries absolutely everything I need to explore a new city, and I love the fact that I can throw it over my shoulder and have my hands free. I love this bag because it's such a classic. It can be worn casually with any every day outfit (I've been carrying it with jeans and a patagonia for the last couple of days), but since it is so polished, it can look glam with a dressier outfit for date night or a night out. When I was in New Jersey, I wore it with a maxi for date night and it gave the outfit the perfect touch!

What does your perfect bag look like? Is it edgy, classic glam, modern chic, or boho? Whatever it is, Opry Mills has got you covered!

XOXO,

Olivia
